As a manufacturer and supplier of aviation ground support equipment, AVRO GSE supports equipment throughout North America and knows the urgency of reducing downtime and understands the pressing need for immediate support and service in the aviation industry.

AVRO GSE operations are based in Emerald Park, SK just outside Regina where we undergo service and operational activities for all equipment categories and distribute throughout North America.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and dynamic account executive, possessing a demonstrated track record in Ground Support Equipment sales, and strong skillsets in capital equipment sales and negotiation.

Position Location: North America

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting market research and analysis for the generation of new enquiries and partners whilst detecting industry trends & opportunities.
  • Proactively establishing and sustaining open lines of communication with all customers and providing timely responses to inquiries, conveying concise and accurate information.
  • Developing and maintaining customer account base to enable year-on-year sales growth within individual accounts.
  • Performing adequate business development activities to grow customer count and individual customer spend.
  • Creating and monitoring annual strategic sales plan defining growth by existing and new accounts and delivers on the annual sales plan.
  • Developing and monitoring strategic account plans to meet or exceed annual sales account objectives.
  • Performing on-site equipment orientations at point of equipment deliveries.
  • Liaising with customers during and after the sale, ensuring problems are resolved and ongoing customer support is provided.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated and possesses excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Be confident, assertive, and credible.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability to strategically organize own time and to self-monitor own sales performances against quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Have a minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in a marketing or sales role.
  • Possess industry knowledge of relevant sectors within the aviation industry.
  • Be able to travel North America wide at short notice.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college or university degree preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
